Scope of supply

ThermEx International NV manufactures and supplies bolt-on heating systems for all kind of piping, tanks, vessels and components maintaining the required process temperature and/or enabling melt-out requirements.

Our bolt-on heating systems, called : "ControTrace" for piping, tanks & vessels, and "ControHeat" for components are operating successfully for the last 30 years already in more than 50,000 applications worldwide.

Our scope of supply includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply and site-supervision of our bolt-on heating systems.

As all our products are engineered products, performance guarantees can be given.

  • Which equipment can be heated:
    • ControTrace: can be used on piping, elbows, T's and crosses, storage tanks and vessels. ControTrace is the alternative for double wall (fully jacketed) piping, scale tracing, steam tracing and electrical tracing.
    • Controheat: can be used on valves, pumps, mass flow meters and metering equipment. ControHeat is the alternative for welded-on, cast-on or added-on heating jackets.

  • Certificates:
    • All our products are rated according to the customers specification. The rating of our products is established and verified in accordance with the ASME Code, Section VIII, division I. The standard pressure/temperature rating is 11 Bar - 250°C. Higher pressure and temperature ratings are available on request.
    • Each supply of our systems include a material and test certificate, drawing and if required detailed calculations. Third party inspections and certificates are available on request.
    • All our products comply with the CE/PED directives.
